Every furnitures's journey starts with the first cut of a raw wooden board, that comes from a local wood dealer or sawmill.
I wanna give you an insight to the process, how wood arises to what many people know as "wood", meaning a finshed plate or board of timber.
Anyway, the first cut is taken in the middle of the piece in most cases, because the wooden core tends to work more than outer layers. Then it can processed to, for example wooden boards or easels. But more of that in the next article.
